El Cafecito Short-Sleeve Unisex T-Shirt

This design was actually inspired by tarot cards. Tarot cards are said to have started like any other card game and eventually people started developing guides to give meanings to each of the cards. The meaning of tarot cards have been shaped by the cultures of each era and the needs of the users. Nowadays, even as tarot cards are used as a way to provide guidance or deliver messages, the true power lies in the intuition of the person interpreting the message.

So I'd like this tee to serve as a reminder to trust your intuition and the fact that everything you need is already within you. I'd also like to share my interpretation of the symbols included in this design and invite you to add your own meanings based on your experience and senses, ready? let's go!

So...

The sun represents energy, clarity, and opportunity. Regardless of what happens today, the sun always rises tomorrow.

The sunflower represents joy, inspiration, and abundance. There's a quote by an unknown person that says “I want to be like a sunflower so that even on the darkest days I will stand tall and find the sunlight.”

The rose represents gratitude, strength, and love. An overall reminder to love yourself fiercely and unconditionally, that is the love you will emit to the world and that is the love that will make it's way back to you.

The iced coffee represents versatility and community. Not only can coffee serve many purposes and transform into many delicious and even beneficial concoctions, but it also brings people together. So many different cultures have traditions and ceremonies around coffee.

And lastly, the hand of a woman with long bold red nails. Regardless of whether or not the nails are your style, to me it represents doing things our way - regardless of what it looks like to others. Showing up unapologetically and standing up to create new norms. It's also an homage to all of the bold women in our life who have been doing just that for years -especially Black Women, the blueprint for most of the fashion, music, and overall culture that we enjoy to this day. 

The thick cotton makes it soft and comfy. And the double stitching on the neckline and sleeves add more durability. But to me, what truly makes this tee is the meaning behind it! I hope you cherish it as much as I do :)
